Why join ACAPTA?

ACAPTA works to raise awareness of circus and physical theatre in Australia and facilitate links by organising a national conference every two years; publishing this website; producing an industry Safety Code; promoting training opportunities, Youth Circus and Community Circus; and playing a leadership role in areas of relevance to the industry. For the 2008 ACAPTA Conference in Adelaide there will be substantial discounts made available to ACAPTA members.

ACAPTA is also currently working to establish a process for the accreditation of trainers, a National Circus Day and an insurance offer for its members.

And we need your help!

The Australian Circus and Physical Theatre Association can only be as strong as its membership. Australia has been a world leader in the development of contemporary circus and physical theatre. We need organisations and individuals to unite behind ACAPTA to build the nationally representative, relevant and energetic peak body that the industry deserves.

Fees

We are of the belief that to adequately work for the sector we need a large and stable member base. To help acheive this ACAPTA’s fees have been significantly reduced for 2005. Help us support you!

Individual membership

  • Professional $15
  • Youth (17 yrs and under) $5
  • 'Angel Membership’ - donations from groups and organisations - minimum $100.

In return for your support you will receive an irregular e-news bulletin and access to an on-line forum. What are you waiting for! Click on the image below for a printable registration form:
